What is FurMist?

FurMist is a steam-powered grooming brush designed to gently detangle, soften, and clean your pet’s fur. It uses a light mist to reduce static and shedding, making grooming more comfortable for both you and your furry friend.

Is FurMist safe for all pets?

Yes! FurMist is safe for both cats and dogs, including pets with sensitive skin. The soft silicone bristles are gentle, and the steam is mild — no heat plates or harsh pulling involved.

How does the steam function work?

Simply fill the water tank with clean water (optionally add pet-safe deodorizer), power on the brush, and press the steam button. A gentle mist is released through the center nozzle, helping loosen tangles and reduce static.

Do I need any special liquids or solutions?

Nope! You can use plain tap or distilled water. For a fresher scent, you can add a pet-safe grooming spray or light deodorizing softener — but this is totally optional.

How long does the battery last?

On a full charge, FurMist lasts about 2–3 full grooming sessions (depending on your pet’s coat). It’s USB rechargeable and comes with a charging cable.

Can I use it on dry fur only?

Yes, FurMist is designed for dry brushing with a gentle mist. It's not meant to replace full bathing but adds a clean, refreshed feel between washes.

Does it work for long-haired pets?

Absolutely! FurMist works on all coat types — short, medium, or long. It’s especially useful for pets that shed or get tangled often.

How do I clean the brush?

Simply wipe the silicone bristles with a damp cloth after use. You can also detach and rinse the brush head gently under water (make sure the device is powered off and unplugged first).
